  1. Unplug all external power sources, devices, and cables.
    1. Be sure to power the device off.

  2. Use only a soft, lint-free cloth.
    1. Avoid abrasive cloths, towels, paper towels, or similar items.

  3. Keyboard and Case: Using a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes.
    1. Be sure to wring out any excess cleaner from the cloth before wiping.
    2. You may gently wipe the exterior surfaces of your device.

  4. Screen: Start with a dry soft, lint-free cloth to remove debris in soft circular motions.
    1. If needed, dampen with water only, preferably distilled to not cause spotting on the screen.
    2. If debris still remains, you can use a gentle cleaner, such as a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and distilled water.

  5. Don’t:
    1. Get moisture into any openings.
    2. Use aerosol sprays, bleaches, hydrogen peroxide, or abrasives.
    3. Spray cleaners directly onto the item.
    4. Excessively wipe, which might cause damage.
