Warriors Crash the Aviators

On Tuesday night, the Carrollton Warrior volleyball team competed against the Alliance Aviators in a league match. Going into the match the Warriors league record was 2-3, while the Aviators record was 1-4. The Warriors fell short to the Salem Quakers on Monday night in 3 sets.

Before the game, the Warriors coach, coach Tressa, stated that even though players are learning new positions on the court, the Warriors energy has been over the top during the recent games.

The first set was a close one, ending in the score of 26-24, with the Aviators coming out on top. But the Lady Warriors didn’t let the first set affect the outcome of the match, stepped up and won the last 3 sets, 25-15, 25-13, and 25-8.

After the game, coach Tressa talked about how the night went. She stated that the team talked and played really well together. She also said the win was a great confidence booster for the entire team in the upcoming matches. The Warriors will play non-league foe, Sandy Valley on Monday, September 23 at Sandy Valley.
