On May 16th the 1st grade students sang the 5th inning stretch "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" at the Carrollton Warrior Varsity baseball senior night game. It is becoming part of the Carrollton Warrior baseball tradition.
On Saturday May 11th, 2013, the Bell-Herron Middle School Choirs performed at the annual Music In the Parks Adjudicated Event which took place at Norwin Middle School and Kennywood Amusement Park near Pittsburgh, PA. The three choirs, made up of two seventh and eighth grade choirs and one sixth grade choir, competed in three different categories. Each choir placed first in their division and Bell-Herron placed first over all seven choirs in the competition. The Choirs also received the "Esprit de Corps Award" which is awarded to the school who's students possess the qualities of highly successful people who are sensitive to the feelings of others and applaud accomplishments no matter if by one’s own school or another school. The Bell-Herron Choir is directed by Mrs. Heather Shive and accompanied by Mrs. Ellyn Dunlap. Thank you to the forty-four chaperones who also accompanied the choirs for the day. A banquet was held at the FFA Camp Muskingum Monday, May 13th to honor all the winners of the Chesapeake Discovering Tomorrow's Leaders competition. Pictured above are the Carrollton winners. Left to Right: Travis Rutledge, Annabel Vernier, Camryn Barker, Elizabeth Taylor, and Garett Davis.
Bell-Herron Middle School will be performing the musical My Son Pinocchio Jr. from the Broadway Junior Collection. Performance dates are May 17 and 18, 2013, starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are on sale now. Adult tickets are $6.00 and child tickets are $4.00.

Items featured on the app include: schools’ contact information, events calendar, sporting events calendar, bus garage contact information, and lunch menus. Users can also dial a school with the press of a button, and sign up to receive text notifications which will allow them to receive important messages pertaining to district news, events, and activities.
